ROOTED IN HISTORY

THE STORY BEHIND CALDWELL

Caldwell is inspired by one of the earliest known cannabis related arrests in American history.

It happened right here in Far Rockaway, NY in 1938.


For decades, people like Caldwell were criminalized, stigmatized, and punished for a plant.

Today, we honor that history by building something better-for our community and for the future.

FOUNDED BY PEOPLE WHO LIVED IT

Caldwell was built by people with past weed charges who know what it means to be judged by a plant.

We've experienced the stigma, the system, and the obstacles.


Now we're using our voice, our story, and our business to flip the script.
